Primary Movement is a unique movement programme which works on the central nervous system. Research studies have shown that it has a significant impact on the educational attainments of children with specific learning difficulties.

A number of primary teachers have expressed an interest in training in primary movement for use in their classroom and there is now an opportunity to facilitate this training through Co Wexford Education Centre. Training is provided through Primary Movement Organisation. This is a non-profit making charitable organization. Only fully qualified teachers may participate in the training.

Training takes place over 3 school days, 10am to 3.30pm daily. There is no sub cover. Cost to the school will be approximately €500. A minimum of 15 teachers are required for the training to proceed.

If your school is interested in having a teacher trained in Primary Movement please contact Co Wexford Education Centre to register your interest. Training will take place in Autumn 2012.
