" True self-care is not salt baths and chocolate cake, it is making the choice to build a life you don’t need to regularly escape from." Brianna Wiest
On a plane, we are advised to put our own oxygen mask on first. The same applies in life. Before we look after others, we must take care of ourselves. People who are by nature caring (as those who work in social professions are) have a tendency to look after others first – which can be very costly for their own wellbeing and cause problems over time. The session will show you how to meaningfully and practically implement ‘selfcare’ and achieve balance and wellbeing in your life. We will also explore the importance of healthy boundaries at work, in school and in relationships and discuss when and how to say no.
