This is an awareness session particularly structured forteacher and SNA group.
Over the 1 hour session, topics to be covered include:
- Explanation of Types of Diabetes and diagnosis
- Signs & Symptoms of diabetes
- Type 1 diabetes -overview of management of Type 1 diabetes to include medication, technologies , and blood glucose management.
- living with Type 1 diabetes and supporting the children. teenagers , friends and family
- Time for discussion and Questions
The fee for this course goes towards delivering services to people living with diabetes in Ireland.
