Learning Outcomes: 
  • Provide participants with knowledge and understanding of the use of Restorative Practices (RP) in schools for the promotion and maintenance of well-being among students and
  • Skill participants to use RP to support their teaching
  • Skill participants to use RP to support their work and life outside the
  • The language and processes practised throughout the week will enable teachers to gain skills identified as national priorities for the Summer Course Programme 2023 i.e. skills for School Self-Evaluation (SSE) and that support teachers to impart SPHE-related skills (including competencies in dealing with bullying and development of child well-being).

Dates: Mon 3rd to Fri 7th July inclusive (20 hrs in total)

Times: 9.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. (daily)

Venue: St. John's Senior National School, Arklow. Y14PA97

Fee: €50.00 

All our summer courses are booked on the condition that the course fee is non-refundable. Course Fees are not transferrable to another teacher. Unfortunately, if you wish to cancel your place on one of our courses or you are unable to attend the course, we are not in a position to refund fees. The course fee can only be refunded if the Education Centre cancels the course.

Lunch: A light lunch will be provided daily at 11.30 a.m.
