Audience: Primary Teachers. Post Primary Teachers may also attend.
Summary:
Sometimes planning for students with and without additional needs can be a challenge. This course will look at practical, user-friendly ways to differentiate within your classroom and ways to make the classroom as inclusive as possible for all students.

Annette Ormond, Grad Dip. SEN, M.Ed ASN is a primary school teacher for the past nineteen years. She is passionate about lifelong learning and is currently completing a Masters in Educational Leadership through The South East Technological University, Waterford.
Annette is also studying toward a degree in psychology through the Open University. She has completed many different courses in the area of educating students with Special Educational Needs and has significant and varied experience in the area. Annette wholeheartedly believes in the difference that teachers can make in the lives of people with many additional needs through their teacher's understanding and knowledge. She worked with the Dyslexia Association of Ireland for eight years and was awarded the IATSE Testimonial and Award for Excellence in Support Teaching in 2017 when she was studying at University College Dublin. Annette was awarded The Louise Madigan Bursary Award for Research in Education in 2021.
