Summary:

Recognise the warning signs of those who may have suicidal ideation. Understand how to ask the appropriate questions as well as the questions not to ask. Know how to offer hope through positive action, get help and possibly save a life

Learning Outcomes:

Recognise someone at risk of suicide.

Demonstrate increased knowledge of intervention skills.

Demonstrate how to make a referral for professional assistance

Denis has been involved in the area of psychotherapy, supervision and training for the past 20 years. He holds a MA.in Supervisory Practice from Dublin City University, BSc.(Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy from Middlesex University as well as qualifications in Sports Mind Coaching, Suicide Awareness and Hypnotherapy
