Beginners Italian - A Classroom Based Approach 

Please note all Teachers who complete this course will receive a separate Certificate as a MFL Ambassador for their school.

Learning Outcomes

• To enable teachers to understand and teach basic Italian conversational skills in a primary school classroom.
• To provide teachers with practical games and activities through which they can teach basic Italian.
• To ensure teachers become more culturally aware of Italian norms and traditions and can carry this awareness to their individual schools to improve cultural awareness.
• To equip teachers with the necessary resources to teach Italian children’s games and songs.

Course dates: Monday 8th July to Friday 12th July (inclusive)

Time: 9.30 a.m. to 2.00 pm daily, 20 hrs in total.

Venue: Wexford Education Support Centre, Enniscorthy

Catering:  A light lunch will be provided at 11.30 a.m. each day.

Cost: €50.00. (non refundable)

Bachelor of Education from Maynooth University's Froebel Department, in my 3rd year teaching in Primary Level. Born in Italy, Italian was my first language, I lived there until I was 7 and still speak fluent Italian.

Please note that all our summer courses are booked on the condition that the course fee is non-refundable. Course Fees are not transferrable to another teacher. Unfortunately, if you wish to cancel your place on one of our courses or you are unable to attend the course, we are not in a position to refund fees. The course fee can only be refunded if the Education Centre cancels the course.
