In this two part webinar, Explore the underlying origins of anger and gain understanding into how it presents itself within yourself and your child. Delve into the neuroscience behind anger, uncovering its close ties to stress, and explore the intricate links between thoughts, emotions, and actions. Learn how to identify triggers early on, drawing from personal experiences to understand reactions, and cultivate empathetic listening skills to support yourself and your child in expressing emotions constructively.. By consciously choosing responses to anger, we can foster healthier relationships with our children and create a nurturing environment for growth and connection. The webinar seeks to empower you with strategies to move from a place of shame and blame to one of understanding, compassion, and conscious choice.

Learning Outcomes

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the underlying causes and triggers of anger, both in oneself and in children, and develop strategies to identify and manage anger in its early stages. Enhance empathy and communication skills to effectively listen and support oneself and children in expressing intense emotions constructively, fostering a compassionate and understanding environment. Acquire practical techniques such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and mindfulness to reduce stress and promote calmness, and cultivate the ability to consciously choose positive responses to anger, thereby improving relationships and promoting emotional well-being. This course covers the curriculum - Social, Personal and Health Education Framework.

Sara is a seasoned life coach and wellbeing facilitator, boasting a wealth of experience guiding individuals and groups through diverse life challenges. Her dedication to supporting parents is deeply rooted in her personal journey as a single parent for over 17 years, during which she also navigated her own mental health issues. Motivated by a profound commitment to personal growth, Sara is wholeheartedly devoted to helping parents cultivate healthier and happier relationships with themselves, their children, and others.

With credentials including a Certificate in Life Coaching, Sara has also undergone extensive training in nonviolent (or Compassionate) communication over a three-year period completing the Parenting Peer Leadership Programme by Bay NVC in California. Additionally, she holds diplomas and certificates in various fields such as Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution, Mediation, Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping), Assertiveness, Dramatherapy, and Youth Work Studies. Sara's diverse expertise equips her with a versatile toolkit to empower individuals towards transformative change.
