  • Adobe Spark, Book Creator and Socrative will be explored as simple tools which can yield fantastic results in a SET or Mainstream setting.

Facilitator: Paul O'Callaghan

My name is Paul O’Callaghan and I am a primary school teacher and a Deputy Principal. After completing my Bachelor of Education, I have attained three postgraduate qualifications: Master’s of Education in Leadership and Management, Diploma in SEN, and Postgraduate Certificate in 21st Century Teaching and Learning. I passionately believe in the transformative power of good CPD to change the practice of teachers and also the lives of children. I work in a school where we have not used textbooks. I have spent extensive time during my teaching career culminating, creating and exploring resources, ideas and practices which are evidence-based. WHY CHOOSE MY COURSES? WHY I DELIVER CPD? SNAs are welcome to come to any of the below named courses. Learning outcomes are listed for each course.

I work in a 1:1 iPad primary school and I have lots of experience working with the PDST Tech in Ed and more recently with the PDST Leadership team. I’ve also lectured in Creative Technologies with Marino Institute of Education and have been delivering online courses through many education centres throughout Ireland since April 2020.
