Leadership Course for Aspiring Leaders - A Four Modular Online Course.

Module Four - The Skilful Leader

Audience: Primary and Post-Primary Aspiring Leaders.

Summary:

This course will cover the wide range of skills which are often to be seen in successful leaders. This will include managerial, rational, cultural and aesthetic dimensions of leadership in school settings.

Learning Outcomes:

• List the broad range of skills which are necessary for effective leadership
• Balance tactics and strategy; conflict and consensus; management and vision
• Learn how to leverage their professional discretion and agency for the good of their school

Eamonn is a retired principal of Piercestown N.S., Drinagh, Co. Wexford.  He has tutored for many years in many curricular and extracurricular areas.  He is particularly interested in quality leadership, chess and numeracy, is a qualified TiE tutor and is currently a lecturer with Hibernia College, DCU and St. Nicholas Montessori College.
