A course examining working memory in the classroom and the role it plays in learning and in ability to participate fully in activities and tasks. We will look at ways working memory can be supported and helped and will look at ways working memory can be assessed in the school situation.

 

Participants will be enabled to:
 Gain an understanding of what working memory is and its role in learning and everyday life
 Examine how to assess working memory in the classroom and look at the key ways we can recognise a working memory difficulty in our students
 Examine ways to support working memory and activities that may help improve it
